CIC Victoria/CFGS UVic Essay Contest Winner Announced

The Victoria Branch of the Canadian International Council and the Centre for Global Studies (CGS) at the University of Victoria (UVic) were pleased to announce Felix Lambrecht, a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Victoria as the 2017 CIC Victoria/CGS UVic Student Essay Contest winner.

Mr. Lambrecht's paper was the winning entry from essays submitted by undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Victoria and Royal Roads on a foreign policy issue of interest and relevance to Canada. The award was presented by Dr. Martin Bunton (Acting Director of the CFGS) Chris Kilford (CIC Victoria Board member and incoming President of the Branch), and Dr. Oliver Schmidtke (Director Centre for Global Studies and Associate Vice-President for Research, University of Victoria).

His winning paper, "Should Canada be Comfortable Being 'Back'? A Moral Analysis of Canada's Position on the World Stage" is available to download here.
